Cowboy Lock and Key uses the information you provide to respond to inquiries and arrange locksmith service.

Information you provide

A full service request includes your first and last names, phone number, service address, service type, urgency, preferred contact method, and description. Email is optional unless you request an email response. A callback request includes your name, phone, general location, service type, urgency, and any explanation you choose to include.

How requests are handled

Requests are saved in our Supabase database and notifications are sent using Resend. Our hosting providers process requests and technical information needed to operate and protect the website. Notifications contain your submitted details so the business can respond. A saved request does not mean an appointment or dispatch is confirmed.

Address searches and maps

ZIP lookups use Zippopotam.us. Street searches and validation use Photon / OpenStreetMap through our server. Those providers receive the location information needed for the lookup. These checks do not establish your authorization to enter a property. The Google map can receive your IP address and browser information when it loads.

Website measurement and security

The website emits basic interaction events, such as call-link clicks, form starts, and accepted requests, without the information entered in the form. Only the event category and whether it concerns a full request or callback are sent to our server for measurement. We do not include field values, page URLs, or customer identifiers in those events. Server security controls limit repeated submissions. Operational errors use request references rather than customer details.

Appointment booking and payment

Online booking collects your name, phone number, optional email, service address, appointment time, and acceptance of the cancellation terms. We store booking details and payment references in our database and use Square to arrange appointments and process payments. Card details are entered in Square’s secure payment form; our website server does not receive or store your full card number or security code. Payment and refund updates help us confirm and manage your booking.

Travel-time calculations

We send the service address and planned travel times to Google Maps Platform to estimate driving time and reserve travel buffers around your appointment. These calculations do not change the fixed service-call fee.

Booking session and notifications

A secure booking cookie keeps your browser connected to your reservation and lets you check its status. Booking and service-request details may be included in operational notifications to the business. A contact-form request is not a confirmed appointment; online booking is confirmed when the website displays a booking confirmation.
